Cult Classics // China Glaze For Audrey

 For Audrey has been near the top of my To try cult list for a while. So I had finally bought it amongst Flip Flop Fantasy & Flirty Tankini on Brands Exclusive. It is a gorgeous pale turquoise or Tiffany blue colour, as the name suggests if you're familar with Breakfast at Tiffanys' & Audrey Hepburn. It is a cream finish and I found the consistency was pretty good while applying it, with only a few streaks that were covered by the second coat.

On Saturday was Australia Day, better known as "Straya Day" to some (in case you didn't know, we love our slang!) It is that awesome day where you beach it, bbq & drink and have fun with friends & family. This year my brother, his gf & our mate came down to celebrate with us on the long weekend.

I haven't properly posted my NOTW for a while so I've put together quite a few that I have done recently! We have had gel at my work for a little while so I was playing around with it a bit there but the truth was I missed playing with my colours which I did not want to neglect!

Ever since I used the cling-wrap method here I've wanted to do it again . Sadly I have to have my nails short for work- I've always had long nails so it sucks for me. =/

My NYE makeup

Hey guys, once again sorry for another late post with my New Years Eve makeup! I've been so busy this week to be able to get around to posting it. So I hope everyone had a great night partying, or whatever you did :) We had the hottest day on new years day that we've had in a long time.... 46.C or 115 F.! Which kinda sucked because it was way too hot for the beach :(
Anyway, it was humid on NYE especially when I was getting ready, so ignore the creasing!

More Christmas... Makeup & Nails

Sorry this is a bit late, as everyone is already out of the Christmas mode as it comes to NYE! I didn't want to leave it any later, so this will be my last post for 2012. Can't believe the year is coming to an end, it went by so quickly, feels like just yesterday I was getting ready for last NYE. So yeah, here is my Christmas Eve & Day Makeup.

Christmas Eve
I had been wearing very similar makeup all day for work, so I just touched up my foundation with a bit of Garnier BB Cream, added more blush & fixed the eyes.

 

MAC & OPI Haul

If you haven't been to www.ozsale.com.au before, you should check it out! --If you're in Australia, of course. They have great deals going all the time & a couple of months ago they had MAC & OPI on sale. Unfortunately the worst part of the website is the shipping- yes I have finally just received my products when I ordered them in October I think? When I saw they had MAC, I knew I would have to set my alarm as a reminder so I could go on straight away and not miss out. Honestly, it was quite disappointing! They said they had a huge selection, but when I went on at 9am on the dot they had 3 lipsticks, about 7 eye shadows & 7 blushes to choose from, so maybe it pays to be a member? O.P.I on the other hand had an amazing choice! Anyway, I still managed to pick up a few goodies.

Recently Bought Items// Lips, Face & More

These are the items I have slowly collected over a few weeks. Unfortunately the delivery person in my town quit so we have had to collect our packages from the post office this past week, and I still have more waiting in the mail so that is frustrating.
Also I've found a few bargains but unfortunately they would probably be over, but if I find them I post on instagram so follow me @missashii_x

Although I'm trying to use up old products, that is not stopping me from a-hauling, especially as we flew over to Adelaide for a long weekend, and I did not want to miss out on any makeup opportunities. And we're staying in Perth for a week, but I think I am happy with my finds now.
OH- as I was shopping, especially one day with my makeup addicted cousin (Ima bad influence, I got her started.... woopsie ;)) I came to the conclusion that I will be on a no buy from when I get home.. that way I will only focus on what I have. I was buying nail polish knowing I had ones at home that I haven't really used. But again, I'm not able to haul too often.
Enough rambling for now, lets get onto the haul!

Barbie Girl Makeup!

I wasn't sure what makeup I wanted to do on the weekend for a "Barbie & Ken" themed party, but I remembered an older makeup look where someone said I probably looked like a barbie haha so I pretty much just copied that, so they are very similar. I did like the shape of this one a lot more, though. 
I also did my friends makeup for that night :)

Deep Sea Mermaid

Hey guys! This is just a look from last week where I used darker blues & greens. I have wanted to do this combo for a little while with my makeup geek eye shadows and it came out a little "deep sea mermaid"-y to me, haha. And it's nice & smoky for those rainy days.

Hey everyone sorry for the lack of posting once again. Here is just some recent nails from the past few weeks I though I've done more than this but maybe I haven't taken pics lol.

Summer Holiday; dramatic colourful cut crease

A couple of weekends ago was my besties 21st birthday party, and the theme was summer/tequila sunrise so of course I had to go bright with the makeup! To make it a bit more dramatic I turned it into a black cut crease and tried to make it a little more creative :) I hope you like!

A couple of Nails..

Last weeks mani... wanted to use all my new polishes at once :) We got to go to a wholesalers (lost my Hairmart cherry hehe) & I bought O.P.I Blue my mind (blue ha ha) & O.P.I Divine Swine.. should have bought some more for the bargain haha.
I also received the China Glaze Matte top coat in the mail so I used that on the tips to test it out, if you can see it, & it works yay haha except the bottle is so small that I would not want to use it all the time.
Sorry for the dents in my nail as I was not patient to wait for it to dry fully. :D

 This is my current mani & I am in love, I think I will be doing this a few more times!

I received the base colour as a birthday gift ages ago & never used it, and it seemed a bit too plain on its own so I added the glitter which I bought recently and it turned it aqua (I suppose that's thanks to the green :P) So its ADORme nail polish in colour 3 with BYS Glam glitter in Dazzling. With most glitters like this its kind of like a jelly base so its so hard to get the glitter in it onto the nails so I went over many times, resulting in the base colour to move around on some nails.

I am still slowly expanding my collection, much to the disapproval of SO hehe, I think I will definetly buy more of the BYS glitter nail polishes because they are so cheap, but depending on which country you live in it can be hard to find.
 
So I ask: Are you into accent nails & glitter? & Together or not at the same time?

Summer/ Spring fresh colours + current nails

Oh man I wish I had a name idea before I start doing my makeup, but as I choose the colours as I was doing it, it makes it harder to come up with names.
Onto the makeup.. I was not so happy with the crease but ya get that. I wanted to something bit brighter then lately but still simple at the same time, so I kept the lower lash line free of colour (except for a tiny bit that I didn't mean to get there haha).

Aussie Pride... Nail art on my toes :)

I'm getting all prepared for Australia Day, which is on the 26th this month. I can't wait to spend all day in the pool and have a barbie & a few drinks! hehe.
I know there's a few aussie's on here, but for those who are not, Australia Day is usually spend by going to the beach, having a bbq or meat pies, playing backyard or beach cricket & drinking! haha.

Anyhoo, I was mucking around with my nail polish & thought heyy why not copy the flag onto my toe nails! haha, its much easier than doing it on my finger nails :P Beware if you do not like to look at toes up close.

Sorry that it looks quite messy, it looks a lot better from a distance for sure.

Products:

The Rubi nail polish (base colour) is quite cheap & nasty, I purchased it from Cotton On but its the only colour like that I have, The red is Nicole By O.P.I OMB (Justin Bieber collection), the white & blue sparkle nail polishs are both from Phuket & the Sally Hansen X-treme wear in clear is for the top coat. I also used a dotting tool from ebay for the red parts of the flag.

Schmoking FOTN Pic Heavy + Nails

The other night I wanted to do something dramatic & smokey for going out for my mans work christmas dinner & then to hit the nighty afterwards. Of course I wanted to use this Bourjois eyehshadow which for some reason looks green... maybe it is because I don't think its quite black... hahah. It doesn't look green in swatches but maybe the JEP changed the colour of it.

Rock Chick Glam FOTN + OOTN + Nails

 On the weekend my friend came down & it had been a while since I had seen her, so we planned a night of drinking & dancing.
I had been wanting to do just a full on smokey eye look for a while now but didn't have anywhere to wear it, and didn't want to wear it during the day haha. I added some glitter under the lower lashline & falsies to make it look more "glam". It was also meant to be more black then silver but I used slate JEP when I should have used black bean.

Organisation, at last!! ~ Pic heavy + long post~

So finally I can breathe while I'm doing my makeup, as at last I have obtained a bigger & better way to store my (small but sweet) stash. Well, its not small compared to the average person, but I have seen some beauty's posted on the web. Anyway, I took some before pictures, to show you how I had been living ha ha.
