Smokey Glitter; Subtle or Dramatic?

These are from 2 different weekends but I wanted to do a glittery cut crease & a subtle glitter clubbing look. I used the same Sleek Palette- my go to, dramatic-smokey-eye look Bad Girl in both looks with Glitter by Nyx. These are definitely way too OTT for during the day but perfect for an eye-catching night look.

 

Masquerade Makeup: Drama if you dare.

A few weekends ago we went to a masquerade ball. Of course I wanted to do big, dramatic makeup for it lol. It was a really good night... when they started playing good music lol. The dress code was meant to be strict but there were quite a few people in short club dresses and people without masks... which is not what a masquerade ball is about! lol. Anyway, apart from that, it was reallly hot in the ball area and because my mask was tucked into my hair it was hard to take it off without my eyes smudging lol.

Balayage hair + glitzy club makeup!

I'm so sorry guys, I'm apologizing for the lack of posts again! Soo I got my hair done a couple of weeks back.. mainly coz my stupid roots were showing through haha.. I swear my hair grows too fast! This time she did more balayage through all of it, instead of just a few front sections like before. The only thing I will change next time is to probably just do the base colour through the top sections only to break up the lighter ends. It looks good curled, but there's kinda like a line between the colour when it's straight.
Aandd- I hate bleach, my ends feel yucky now & they tangle so easily! My hair is so much more static when I brush it too lol :(

Taking your makeup from day to night.

I understand that this day makeup may be too much for some, but in this post I am going to show you how I take my makeup from day to night. There's not a huge difference, but there's a few main factors that can change your makeup from 'work' to 'night-on-the-town'. Depending on how much makeup you like to wear, of course. I don't always have natural makeup for the day though :D

Barbie Girl Makeup!

I wasn't sure what makeup I wanted to do on the weekend for a "Barbie & Ken" themed party, but I remembered an older makeup look where someone said I probably looked like a barbie haha so I pretty much just copied that, so they are very similar. I did like the shape of this one a lot more, though. 
I also did my friends makeup for that night :)

Summer Holiday; dramatic colourful cut crease

A couple of weekends ago was my besties 21st birthday party, and the theme was summer/tequila sunrise so of course I had to go bright with the makeup! To make it a bit more dramatic I turned it into a black cut crease and tried to make it a little more creative :) I hope you like!

Goldilux At Night

I mentioned that I finally got me some Sugarpill, & I said I would use them soon! I have used all the colours at least once already, and if I was actually organized I wouldn't have to post them a week later lol. Anyway, I did this not long before washing it off just to practice, I wanted a cut crease but I think the "cut" needs to be more visible lol, either way I like it.

my fdtn is barely hanging in there lol, after a long day of wearing it. Weird angle but I had to tilt my head up into the light to get a good shot.

This is how I wore it during the day, with browns from Sleek Storm & purple on the lower lashline.

By this time my blush had faded & I was only wearing lip balm, but I did add red lipstick not long before washing it off but couldn't get a good pic.

Also, especially to Mandy who wanted a review, the swatches are here, I just wanted to say that so far, I'm loving them! You really get a lot with them which will last forever as a little goes a long way, and they apply so beautifully! With any eyeshadow, a primer will make it last all day, but I don't think you need to use a base for the colour to stand out. I had absolutely no creasing either (with a different look, & that was after wearing it all day)

All that glitters: Fancy dress for New Years Eve

I hope everyone had a fun & safe new years!! Where I am we don't get fireworks, but we had a spectacular lightning show! (it was fine that day until the arvo, how typical). So my new years attire was a bit different from normal as we attended a dress up party haha, and we were going to change before we went out but decided not to. Although we got a fair few comments while we were out lol!

Futuristic Cut Crease?

Woohoo I can finally honestly say I was happy with how this look turned out! I would definitely do this look again for clubbing or maybe even new years, I would probably add some glitter & it would be good to go. Also I think it this goes with any outfit.

So I was inspired by this tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fq-lEu73GI&feature=channel_video_title, & I thought it would be harder to get my eyes even but I got it fairly quickly. It doesn't matter if it is not perfect anyway because as they say "eye's are sisters not twins."

New hair + Ice Queen FOTD

My hair was in desperate need of a colour, I liked the colour that I had before but I've had red in my hair for so long that I wanted to go more violet-y. & it still has some red in it so I like that :D
These pics were taken the day after so I made sure that I slept on my hair nicely haha. & to go with my new hair I wanted to do a more "special" look so yet again I tried a cut crease look (again haha) which I thought I had better try to name.
