Ahh I have so many FOTD's to catch up on, it feels like I haven't posted a proper one in forever! So I will try to post them all close-ish together. I have been doing similar looks lately with bronzed & highlighted skin and "clean" eyes and I've started taking my pictures in different lighting as well. These 2 FOTD's have nothing on the lower lash line which I've been doing a bit more as it makes my eyes look more feline, awake & refreshed. (so I think, anyway!)
Stupid hairs in my face >.< |
~Products~
Face: Rimmel Wake Me Up + Garnier BB Cream
NARS Laguna, MAC Lightscapade, Jordana Coral Sandy Reef blush
Eyes: MAC Painterly Paintpot
Stila 'Kitten' [1st half of lid], Makeup Geek 'Sensuous' [Rest of Lid], MUG 'Purple Rain' [outer V], MUG 'Burlesque' [crease]. MUG 'Vanilla Bean' [blending] .
Maybelline Master Precise + Napoleon Perdis Black e/l to intensify.
Lips: Milani 'Rosehip' with a tiny bit of Topshop 'Show Off' in the center.
Look 2- I wanted to play around with blending out eyeshadow to create an eyeliner effect, keeping the lower lashline free of colour again. I did add a nude eyeliner to the waterline, though.

Face: Nars Laguna Bronzer, MAC Lightscapade
Bourjois blush #16
Eyes: Light green from Bh Cosmetics Day & Night [lid]. Buck from Naked 2 [crease]. Matte White Inglot e/s [highlight, I probably should of used something not as stark], Essence mousse eyeshadow in black [blended out from lash line], MAC Contrast [ontop of black base].
Lips: MAC Myth, Maybelline Pink Peony (fave combo of these 2 colours!)
I haven't posted many proper FOTD's in a while but stay tuned because there is a whole heap coming your way!
Thanks for looking and have a fantastic day
xx

ReplyDeleteI love your eye shadow in the second look, it's really different!
ReplyDeleteGreat eye makeup looks, your skin is flawless x

Wow you are absolutely gorgeous! I love the eye makeup especially though :)
ReplyDeleteYour hair is amazing :D And of course your FOTDs' are great, as usual ;) Love the cat-eyes on you! x
ReplyDeleteI love your first look, so deep but neutral...I think your highlighting is fantastic and your fantastic bone structure definitely helps! I've never been a fan of anything on my lower lash line, I touch it too much and tear throughout the day so I would have horrible panda eyes. I think a clean bottom makes anyone look fresher and brighter! Great to know you're trying something different ^^
ReplyDeleteTrust me babe with no contouring and highlighting I have no bone structure within my face!! You are too true there, you won't get panda eyes therefore won't look tired if you keep it clean there! xx
DeleteI love the first look!
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing <3
Your eye looks always look so beautifully blended! You really have skills :p Love Laguna on you as well :)
ReplyDeleteI like the first look! Very pretty and subtle, will definitely try something similar to it. x

Thank you darling, unfortunately mostly everything I post is before work so I have no time but I should probably talk more through it, if that would be helpful! I'll have to start doing that :) xx
Deletei love both looks!! it's really great how perfect you blend the eyeshadows, it's good enough to be called "professionally done", so amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you're having a beautiful day ~ XO

Aww thanks so much, if you think so! :D xx
DeleteI really love this technique of putting nothing on the lash line! It really shapes the eyes in a different way, I really like it! I think I'll be trying something similar soon! But I always feel like I look so tired without anything underneath!

Thanks so much girlie! I know I so love the look, unfortunately it isn't for everyone! I used to feel that I looked tired but I think it depends what you do on top, as well! xx
